Meatsafe B-Lactam is a one-step drug residue screening test for live animals. It is intended for use on fresh urine from cattle which have been treated with any of the following; amoxicillin, ampicillin, cloxacillin, hetacillin, and penicillin G.

 

Meatsafe B-Lactam identifies animals which no longer have dangerous levels of drug residue in their tissues. It reliably predicts which animals will pass the tissue residue tests performed by the Food Safety Inspection Service.

 

Rapid screening test. Results may be confirmed with approved tissue residue test to certify edible tissue as residue-free.
