Outside Sales Staff

The ANIMART Outside Sales Department brings valuable solutions to the fine producers we have the privilege of working with. We pride ourselves in knowing our producers and helping them reach the goals they've set for their operation. We work closely with clients to set up on-farm appointments and help coordinate orders with our delivery system. We also strive to further educate ourselves by attending key trade shows, producer meetings and industry events. Through interactions with our vendor representatives, veterinarians, and allied industry professionals, we look forward to serving you and striving to exceed your expectations.

ANIMART has two regionally-based sales teams:

  • Midwest - MI, MN, MI, IA, IL, IN, OH, WI
  • Northeast - CT, MA, ME, NY, NH, PA, RI, VT

Midwest Sales Team

Tom Klas - Regional Sales Manager, Midwest

Tom KlasTom started at ANIMART in May 2000. Coming from a background in which helping people is one of his core values, he is excited to blend his interest in the dairy industry and making a difference in people's lives.  He brings honesty, integrity, drive for success and an infectious positive attitude to ANIMART.


Pat Mueller -  Strategic Account Manager and Sales Trainer

Pat Mueller

Pat joined ANIMART in January 2000. He brings to ANIMART a youthful energy and eagerness to learn more about the dairy industry. Pat joined ANIMART with an open mind by beginning as a shipping associate and worked hard to get where he is today, a strategic account manager committed to his customer’s success.


Josh Berg -  Territory Manager (WI - Northwest)

Josh Berg

Josh joined the ANIMART sales team in 2016 after working for several years as an Agri-Specialist at Ecolab. His interest in agriculture originated while working at his aunt and uncle’s dairy farm in southern Buffalo County. Beginning at a young age, Josh volunteered to help his family in any way he could. Josh says the farmer is the hardest worker he knows; therefore he makes it his mission to make their jobs easier and more successful. 


Wayne Keil -  Territory Manager (WI - East)

Wayne KeilWayne has an unmatched knowledge of the dairy industry after working at ANIMART in various roles for 25 years. After starting in sales as a Route Truck Driver and working in Inside Sales and Marketing, Wayne is excited to get back out on the road. When he's not helping producers find the best solutions for their dairy, you may find him on his family's beef farm just outside of Beaver Dam.


Carissa Merfeld - Territory Manager (WI - Northeast)

Carissa MerfeldCarissa started at ANIMART in November of 2012. She brings knowledge from her Associates degree at MATC and sales experience from working at an Interior Design firm for the past 13 years. Carissa is excited to get back into the agriculture industry as she grew up in the country and has been involved in farming most of her life. She believes using her past experiences will allow her to better connect with customers so she can help them with all their needs. 



Paul Nuttelman - Territory Manager (WI - Southwest, MN - Southeast, IA and IL)

Paul NuttelmanPaul joined ANIMART in October 2014. He has a wealth of knowledge and personal connections in the industry. Paul grew up on a farm with over 200 Angus cattle and graduated from UW-River Falls with a degree in Ag Business. He worked in the calf industry for 11 years in research and development and was also a calf development manager. Paul’s interest in product advancements is a valuable asset to the customers in his sales territory. He keeps producers informed of the latest products that help them raise healthy and productive herds.


Maura Wieners - Territory Manager 

Maura Wieners
Maura came aboard the ANIMART team in 2012. After working as an Inside Sales Representative for 5 years, she was happy to accept her current position as Territory Manager. Maura has a degree in animal science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a background in raising beef and sheep. Prior to joining ANIMART, she was an intern for Pfizer Animal Health (now Zoetis) and for UW-Arlington Sheep Research Station. Her experience provides her with a practical understanding of animal health and producer's needs. Maura also has first-hand knowledge of many ANIMART products because she and her family operate a dairy farm in central Wisconsin.  



Mallorie Harris - Strategic Account Manager (MI, IN and OH)

Mallorie Harris
Mallorie began her career at ANIMART in March 2011. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2008 with a degree in Agriculture and Natural Resource Communications. She grew up raising beef cattle and enjoys immersing herself in the dairy industry. Mallorie's background combined with her love for working with and helping producers works well with ANIMART's customer-focused mentality.




Teresa Clifford - Territory Manager (MI, IN and OH)

Teresa Clifford
Teresa started working at ANIMART in 2017. She brings a long and storied background in agriculture which began on her family's 600-acre farm in Columbia City, Indiana. The family business includes a 400-head feedlot, 120-head cow/calf operation and custom slaughterhouse. She remains involved in the family farm today, along with several major livestock show boards. She is even a certified livestock massage therapist. Teresa's passion for the industry and years of experience help her bring added value to her customers. 



Northeast Sales Team
Rick Bennett - Dealer Territory Manager (CT, MA, ME,  NH, NY, RI, VT)
Zach PeckRick started working at ANIMART in July 2017. He has been involved in agriculture since he was a young boy riding in his father’s route truck as they called on New York dairy farms. Rick brings over 20 years of experience in sales. He was a partner in his family’s Wisconsin-based farm store for 10 years, and then became a dairy route sales representative for a national animal health distributor. He later transferred to his home state of New York to focus on the distributor’s northeastern dealer market. Rick’s sales philosophy is “honesty, integrity, and being available day and night for my customers.” His focus is selling solutions that make the producer’s operation run efficiently and economically. 

Dean Leiby - Territory Manager (PA)
Dean Leiby
Dean became part of the Animal Medic, now ANIMART, team in 2000. He has been in and around the ag industry his entire life having grown up on a Pennsylvania farm and founding Leiby Brothers Dairy with his three brothers. Over the past 16 years working as a salesperson, Dean has built confidence in his customer relationship skills and product knowledge. He feels it’s important to listen to his customers first and then present the products that fit their needs. 


Joe Peters - Territory Manager (NY)
Joe Peters
Joe is a long-time employee of the Animal Medic, and now ANIMART team. He started at Animal Medic in 1993, and prior to that, he ran his own route-based business selling supplies to New York farmers. Joe enjoys sharing his decades of knowledge, experience and personal connections making him a valuable asset to ANIMART as well as his customers.    

Michelle Rauf - Territory Manager (PA)
Whitney Smith
Michelle fell in love with the dairy industry while growing up on her parent’s farm. She continued her passion by studying dairy science in college and later becoming the herdswoman for a 700-cow dairy. Michelle was excited to join ANIMART in 2016 because her position enables her work with others who share in her admiration of the industry. Michelle believes farmers are the cornerstones of our country, therefore she wants to do her part to help them be successful.

Brandon Riehlman - Territory Manager (NY)
Zach Peck
Brandon has been part of Animal Medic, now ANIMART, since 2011. He was raised on a dairy farm and holds an Associate’s degree in Dairy Production and Management from SUNY Cobleskill. After college, Brandon further expanded his training by working on two large dairy farms. Brandon’s background is a valuable asset to his position in Outside Sales. He strives to ensure his customers’ success by providing the best possible service.




Ed Yoder - Territory Manager (PA)

Zach Peck
Ed has been in and around the ag industry for his entire life. He worked on his family’s dairy farm and in several ag-related occupations before joining Animal Medic, now ANIMART, in 2009. Ed credits a great deal of his knowledge to a former long-time coworker and mentor named Lavere Hook. To this day, Ed channels the know-how he gained from Lavere to answer customers’ questions and recommend the best products.
