The ANIMART Outside Sales Department brings valuable solutions to the fine producers we have the privilege of working with. We pride ourselves in knowing our producers and helping them reach the goals they've set for their operation. We work closely with clients to set up on-farm appointments and help coordinate orders with our delivery system. We also strive to further educate ourselves by attending key trade shows, producer meetings and industry events. Through interactions with our vendor representatives, veterinarians, and allied industry professionals, we look forward to serving you and striving to exceed your expectations.
ANIMART has two regionally-based sales teams:
Midwest Sales Team
Tom Klas - Regional Sales Manager, Midwest
Tom started at ANIMART in May 2000. Coming from a background in which helping people is one of his core values, he is excited to blend his interest in the dairy industry and making a difference in people's lives. He brings honesty, integrity, drive for success and an infectious positive attitude to ANIMART.
Pat Mueller - Strategic Account Manager and Sales Trainer
Pat joined ANIMART in January 2000. He brings to ANIMART a youthful energy and eagerness to learn more about the dairy industry. Pat joined ANIMART with an open mind by beginning as a shipping associate and worked hard to get where he is today, a strategic account manager committed to his customer’s success.
Josh Berg - Territory Manager (WI - Northwest)
Josh joined the ANIMART sales team in 2016 after working for several years as an Agri-Specialist at Ecolab. His interest in agriculture originated while working at his aunt and uncle’s dairy farm in southern Buffalo County. Beginning at a young age, Josh volunteered to help his family in any way he could. Josh says the farmer is the hardest worker he knows; therefore he makes it his mission to make their jobs easier and more successful.
Wayne Keil - Territory Manager (WI - East)
Wayne has an unmatched knowledge of the dairy industry after working at ANIMART in various roles for 25 years. After starting in sales as a Route Truck Driver and working in Inside Sales and Marketing, Wayne is excited to get back out on the road. When he's not helping producers find the best solutions for their dairy, you may find him on his family's beef farm just outside of Beaver Dam.
Carissa Merfeld - Territory Manager (WI - Northeast)
Carissa started at ANIMART in November of 2012. She brings knowledge from her Associates degree at MATC and sales experience from working at an Interior Design firm for the past 13 years. Carissa is excited to get back into the agriculture industry as she grew up in the country and has been involved in farming most of her life. She believes using her past experiences will allow her to better connect with customers so she can help them with all their needs.
Paul Nuttelman - Territory Manager (WI - Southwest, MN - Southeast, IA and IL)
Paul joined ANIMART in October 2014. He has a wealth of knowledge and personal connections in the industry. Paul grew up on a farm with over 200 Angus cattle and graduated from UW-River Falls with a degree in Ag Business. He worked in the calf industry for 11 years in research and development and was also a calf development manager. Paul’s interest in product advancements is a valuable asset to the customers in his sales territory. He keeps producers informed of the latest products that help them raise healthy and productive herds.
Ashley Scheel - Territory Manager (WI - Southeast)
Ashley joined ANIMART's Sales Team in 2016. She grew up on a farm in northern Illinois and was active in 4-H, which eventually led her to pursue a degree in Agriculture Education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. After graduating from college, Ashley worked as an agronomist where she assisted farms throughout southern Wisconsin with crop management. She credits this experience with gaining fundamental knowledge on ways to help farms thrive, whether it be through optimizing crop planting or maximizing cattle health.
Mallorie Harris - Strategic Account Manager (MI, IN and OH)
Mallorie began her career at ANIMART in March 2011. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2008 with a degree in Agriculture and Natural Resource Communications. She grew up raising beef cattle and enjoys immersing herself in the dairy industry. Mallorie's background combined with her love for working with and helping producers works well with ANIMART's customer-focused mentality.
Tim Galloway - Territory Manager (IN)
Tim has Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and has lived on a farm or worked in ag professions his entire life. After spending 12 years as a herdsman and then 5 years on a large hog farm, he began his sales career. His sales expertise encompasses a variety of products including feed, dairy sanitation supplies, plus beef and dairy semen. Tim joined the ANIMART sales team in 2013. He utilizes his vast on-farm experience and product knowledge to sell the company’s offerings at the best possible price with quick and accurate service.
Dale Miller - Regional Sales Manager, Northeast
Dale joined the ANIMART team in 2015 and brought with him over 35 years of experience in the dairy nutrition and animal health business. Dale is the Regional Sales Manager of the company’s Northeast Division. He oversees sales and dealer representatives working in the greater northeast. Dale enjoys working closely with his employees and customers to understand their challenges and work toward success.
Joshua Hitchcock - Territory Manager (NY)
Josh has been surrounded by agriculture his entire life. He was raised on a dairy farm in Kennedy, NY, and was very involved with his local Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization and 4-H club. Josh’s personal connections with these organizations, as well as his relationship with ANIMART customers, help feed his passion for the farming community. Josh enjoys presenting new products and strategies to producers to help ensure every herd meets its full potential.
Joe Peters - Territory Manager (NY)
Joe is a long-time employee of the Animal Medic, and now ANIMART team. He started at Animal Medic in 1993, and prior to that, he ran his own route-based business selling supplies to New York farmers. Joe enjoys sharing his decades of knowledge, experience and personal connections making him a valuable asset to ANIMART as well as his customers.
Brandon Riehlman - Territory Manager (NY)
Brandon has been part of Animal Medic, now ANIMART, since 2011. He was raised on a dairy farm and holds an Associate’s degree in Dairy Production and Management from SUNY Cobleskill. After college, Brandon further expanded his training by working on two large dairy farms. Brandon’s background is a valuable asset to his position in Outside Sales. He strives to ensure his customers’ success by providing the best possible service.
Dean Leiby - Territory Manager (PA)
Dean became part of the Animal Medic, now ANIMART, team in 2000. He has been in and around the ag industry his entire life having grown up on a Pennsylvania farm and founding Leiby Brothers Dairy with his three brothers. Over the past 16 years working as a salesperson, Dean has built confidence in his customer relationship skills and product knowledge. He feels it’s important to listen to his customers first and then present the products that fit their needs.
Michelle Rauf - Territory Manager (PA)
Michelle fell in love with the dairy industry while growing up on her parent’s farm. She continued her passion by studying dairy science in college and later becoming the herdswoman for a 700-cow dairy. Michelle was excited to join ANIMART in 2016 because her position enables her work with others who share in her admiration of the industry. Michelle believes farmers are the cornerstones of our country, therefore she wants to do her part to help them be successful.
Kelley Rohrbaugh - Territory Manager (PA)
ANIMART welcomed Kelley to the sales team in 2016. Kelley grew up on her family’s Bedford County, PA dairy farm and was very active in both 4-H and FFA. She later went on to graduate from Penn State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. During college, her experience was further augmented by a sales internship with Zoetis and with Pennwood, where, via the Center for Dairy Excellence, she was able to gain knowledge in herd management. Kelley is excited to be working at ANIMART where she has an opportunity to tap into her passion for the industry by helping Pennsylvania producers with their product needs.
Whitney Smith - Territory Manager (PA)
With a Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science from Penn State and on-the-job experience ranging from working on a large dairy farm to performing milk quality analysis in a microbiology lab, Whitney brings a wealth of knowledge to her position. Whitney started working at ANIMART in 2015 and continues to expand her industry know-how. From attending conferences and classes, to staying up-to-date on new products, customers can count on Whitney to find answers.
Kyle Vincent - Territory Manager (PA)
Kyle grew up in Northeast Ohio, where his family owns Tri-Pine Farm; a cow-calf operation. Since graduating from Ohio State University with a degree in Animal Science, Kyle has built a career steeped in agriculture. He has worked in herd and farm management, as well as outside sales and territory management. Kyle feels there is no better industry than agriculture, and no better people to work with than producers. His job’s greatest reward is connecting his customers with products that will make their businesses successful.
Ed Yoder - Territory Manager (PA)
Ed has been in and around the ag industry for his entire life. He worked on his family’s dairy farm and in several ag-related occupations before joining Animal Medic, now ANIMART, in 2009. Ed credits a great deal of his knowledge to a former long-time coworker and mentor named Lavere Hook. To this day, Ed channels the know-how he gained from Lavere to answer customers’ questions and recommend the best products.
