One-Step drug residue test for live animals. Meatsafe B-Lactam is a drug residue screening test for live animals. It is intended for use on fresh urine from cattle which have been treated with any of the following; amoxicillin, ampicillin, cloxacillin, hetacillin, penicillin G. Meatsafe B-Lactam identifies animals which no longer have dangerous levels of drug residue in their tissues. Meatsafe B-Lactam reliably predicts which animals will pass the tissue residue tests performed by the Food Safety Inspection Service. Meatsafe B-Lactam is a rapid screening test. Results may be confirmed with approved tissue residue test to certify edible tissue as residue-free.
